I also conduct research on campus. I've worked in the Math Department, learning about knot theory and proving the advantages of a new method of distinguishing knots, something previously unknown by experts in the field. I currently work in the Environmental Sciences Department in the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Lab under Dr. Francesca Hopkins. I've been analyzing gas concentration data collected on LA freeways throughout the pandemic.
